The Outdoor Foundation believes everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, health, confidence, and sense of belonging that come from spending time outdoors. Through our national Thrive Outside Initiative, we work alongside communities across the country to expand access to nature by bringing together schools, nonprofits, parks, healthcare organizations, businesses, and public agencies to create welcoming, community-driven pathways into outdoor recreation. In partnership with the Outdoor Industry Association, we also produce the nation's leading Outdoor Participation Trends Report, providing the research and insights that help communities, industry leaders, policymakers, and advocates better understand who is participating, where barriers remain, and how we can work together to build a stronger, more inclusive outdoor future. Together, these efforts are strengthening communities, inspiring the next generation of outdoor participants, and creating lasting pathways to lifelong outdoor participation.
